How to Enable Virtualization in BIOS

Introduction

Virtualization allows you to run virtual machines and is a requirement for software like VMware or VirtualBox.

Steps

1. Access BIOS Settings
   • Enter the BIOS following the instructions in Guide #1.
2. Find Virtualization Settings
   • Look under the Advanced tab for options like Intel VT-x or AMD-V.
3. Enable Virtualization
   • Toggle the setting to Enabled and save changes.
4. Verify in Your Operating System
   • Use system utilities like Task Manager > Performance Tab to confirm that virtualization is enabled.
